gave me the typical story about how the first owner was an old guy. You know the one. His variation was that he died and his wife kept the car for sentimental reasons for years before selling it. The only mods the second owner mentioned, besides the stereo, were the intake, catback exhaust, fascia and tails. OK, so I'm creeping around under my car recently and notice a sway bar that looks a lot like this one: 
Now I've got after market sway bars on my 240Z and they look about the same as that. When I get around to the front of my Z32 for the UD pulley install, same thing. Front and rear are about 1 1/16" in diameter. I'm thinking that these are definitely aftermarket sways. What do you guys say? Is there much difference between sway bars other than diameter? I mean is one by one manufacturer pretty much the same as that made by somebody else (as long as they are the same diameter)?
